Dr. Chris Yavis, BKin, D.C.
Okotoks Location
“I grew up in a family that was all about natural health care and the importance of taking care of yourself. It’s amazing that if you take care of your body, your body will take care of you.”
Dr. Chris has always had an interest in how a healthy diet and exercise play a part in maintaining a healthy life. He found that chiropractic fit well into the same scope.
“If people take care of themselves, they don’t need to rely as much on external factors like drugs and surgery.”
Dr. Chris likes developing relationships with his practice members and getting to know them. He feels that a healthy relationship is vital in gaining their trust, and helping them obtain their true goals when it comes their health.
Dr. Jaycee George
SW Calgary Location
While in high school, Dr. Jaycee experienced a bout of sickness that produced severe back pain. It was then that she had the insight that she should become a chiropractor. She was also highly involved in sports and knew that she needed a job that would keep her active so chiropractic was the perfect career choice.
Dr. Jaycee played volleyball at Valley City State University in Valley City, North Dakota, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences. In 2020, she earned her Doctor of Chiropractic from Northwestern Health Sciences University in Bloomington, Minnesota.
Dr. Adam Postmus
SW Calgary Location
As someone who’s been highly active his entire life, Dr. Adam always wanted to be involved in some aspect of sports in terms of career. He initially went to university for athletic therapy, but through his schooling, he realized becoming an athletic therapist wasn’t for him.
Toward the end of completing his bachelor’s at the University of the Fraser Valley in Abbotsford, British Columbia, Dr. Adam planned to either go to school for physiotherapy or attend chiropractic college. He chose the latter, attending Palmer College of Chiropractic – West Campus in San Jose, earning his Doctor of Chiropractic in December 2017. For him, having the ability to live in California next to the 49ers stadium was a huge draw!
